We will email you updates of the status of your excess baggage.

Dependant on the country and method of shipping we may also be able to give you a tracking number of the relevant courier.

What is door-to-door and door-to-port? 2017-06-25T19:53:58+00:00

Door-to-Door means we ship your belongings straight to your door. Please call us to see if your country allows door-to-door service, some need you to collect the excess baggage in person.

Door-to-port means you collect your excess baggage from a port or airport in your destination country. Some countries need you to personally clear it through customs, settle any charges/taxes and wharfage fees etc.

Yes but if you are worried it is best to get it professionally packed which is a service we can provide.

There are so many factors involved, it is best to call us about your situation so we can arrange a convenient date for your excess baggage to arrive.

Freight travelling by air or road generally takes 7-14 days to arrive.

Sea freight is less expensive but can take up to 30 days to arrive.

This depends on the country. Some countries need the owner to collect the excess baggage in person at the port or airport. Other countries can be more relaxed and you can even have the baggage delivered to your door.

Yes, it is quite common for friends or family to ship someones belongings. However it is important to give the details of the person who is collecting/owns the baggage.

Absolutely not. Many other companies have great lead in prices but charge per box to get them back, please don’t get caught out. At Send and Store, we have a no hidden cost policy.

You certainly can. We understand that not everything fits easily into a box so we do accept other items. We have stored bicycles, keyboards, guitars, TV’s, suitcases. Give us a call to talk about what you want to store and we will do our best to accommodate.
